This privacy policy applies to everyone/anyone in the world who use our services (“Users”) as well as drivers, partners, transportation companies, ad agencies, agents, print shops, and commuters who use the Veezlo platform under the agreement (collectively, as “Ambassadors”).

We collect information which you provide to us either directly or by using our services. We use the information to deliver better services. Read this policy to learn why we need to use the information. We collect info when you create and modify your account, contact customer support, request on-demand services and communicate to us. The information includes but not limited to the email address, contact number, payment method, financial and credit card information, postal address, profile picture or any info that you might choose to provide or required to provide.

Kindly note that Veezlo doesn’t consciously collect, all the data are the requirements for running the system. We require the age to be at least 18 years to engage with Veezlo. Please keep the information from the children.

Information we collect

We collect information through your use of our services. This may include your personal information which can be used to contact you like your phone number, postal address, credit/debit card information, email address, and full name. It also includes demographic information (i.e info you submit, that is not personal information) but not limited to postcode, hometown, IMEI, gender, device info, your OS, GPS info, time zone setting, IP address, age/birth date, and registration history info.

Information from other sources

We might receive or collect your information both personal & demographic through other sources. The example is when you choose to link your social media account to your Veezlo account for signing up, or if you login into Veezlo account with a payment provider.

Some of information might come from the APIs we use or other apps/sources that use our APIs. We also receive information about you, if your employer assigns you as a contact point to execute the campaign(s).

In some cases, you might want to use our services as an Ambassador. Your personal data might be combined with some other data to enable you for being an Ambassador.

Any data of personal nature that we collect, receive or use is to provide excellent service, maintain the quality of the service and improve consistently with time. Veezlo assures its users that your data is safe and we do not use it for any personal purpose/gain or crime. The use is purely in business nature to gain insights, conduct data analysis, testing, and research, launch new products, analyze and monitor usage and trends.

The primary goal of collecting and using the data is to match ambassadors with advertisers and perform the business activities provided in the shape of services by us. We get your permission before we use anything whether the information about you or your preferences.

When you create an account with Veezlo, we send you welcome, confirmation or verification emails. You might choose to receive the newsletter and you can unsubscribe at any time you want. Remember, you can’t opt out from receiving maintenance announcements, support emails, billing information, transaction information, receipts, campaign details, and your ambassadors’ details. This is crucial to prevent disputes and keep the process transparent. We also send messages on your mobile number such as asking you to rate the support, support messages, pin code, follow-up calls to both ambassadors & advertisers for various purposes, verification code, password reset messages or anything deemed to be important by Veezlo including but limited to coupon codes, tracking links, switch status links and vendor portal details.

The information also enables us to facilitate payments, provide on-demand services, estimate and predict the cost, send receipts, provide support to both Advertiser & Ambassador, develop and ensure the safety and secure the interests of both Advertiser and Ambassador. This also helps in the authentication of the users and sending product updates.

It helps us to run operations and administration, including, to prevent fraudulent activities and abuse of our systems/services. We also continuously work on troubleshooting software bugs and operational problems. Your data helps in all this in one way or other. For example, when your app crashes and you send a report, we just roll up our sleeves to fix it.

However, we send you service or system related announcements whenever there is scheduled or unscheduled maintenance/emergency/crisis situation maintenance.

We also facilitate the communication between you and your ambassador, showing you the estimated time for the launch of the campaign or between you and your contact with your use of specific features, such as referrals, and invites.

Veezlo sends you communications that might be in your interests like coupon codes, product info, news, notification and events of Veezlo, where allowed in accordance to local laws to run a contest or any other promotion entries and updates like:

2. Changes in Pricing
3. Personalize the services, including to provide and to suggest features, content, social connections, guides, and policies.

Security

We take every reasonable step to secure your personal and non-personal information from unauthorized access. We value the trust you have given to us. If your account is password protected, be sure that only you have access to it and authorized employees of Veezlo who need information for analysis and other reasons. Veezlo never proactively reach out to ask you information, including password.

The data is secured in our secured databases. The security standards, commercially industry-wide practices and security steps are used such as SSL, firewall, internal systems protection and encryptions to give you the peace of mind. However, unfortunately, 100% secure transmission of data over the internet is not guaranteed. As a result, Veezlo can’t guarantee 100% security of the data you share or transmit to us, you do this on your own risk. Therefore, Veezlo expressively disclaims any liability that can arise by the individual(s) obtaining your data you submit to us.

Again, we emphasize on sharing your some and/or total information in special cases with local authorities required by law and some information to the advertisers or ambassadors to do business with you. You agree to this when you sign up with us. This is all for the good, nothing for personal benefits. We might use (we don’t sell, rent or trade any data) or asked by research organizations (i.e public, private, research bodies and research journals in some cases shareholders/investors/partners/franchises) to share statistical information, impact analysis and logs data which we may share with them as it’s good to add value to the eco-system, improve the infrastructure and improve the lives of people in general to create a better community.

1. Your location (can be the city of the campaign or zone or your current location) with your ambassador(s) when you request on-demand services to help ambassador(s) for executing the campaign(s).
2. The ambassadors’ details shared with advertisers to facilitate the communication and execution of the campaign and include your name, contact, and geo-location, profile photo and vehicle details.
3. With third parties that you may request to provide you a service through our partnership with them or promotional offering made either by us or them. Third parties can be ad agencies, design agencies, printing agencies and/or anyone we might choose to work with.
4. With your employer that might appointed you as a point of contact to execute a campaign.

Other cases of sharing

We may share your personal data with our subsidiaries, franchises and affiliated entities. However, third parties service that we might use to deliver you the complete service might collect your data and we do not have any control over them such as Google. Any information that you share with the third party for using our service or in any instance is not covered by the scope of this privacy policy. We are not responsible for such cases. Third party content

You might receive or engage with content provided by the third party. The content can be in any form or type such as video, audio, graphics, images, text, flash, AI-based tools and software (collectively, as “content”). This content might be there to help you, for example, if you’re not a designer but need to create a design or test the design ideas, these tools can help you create an ad for you quickly even if you’re not a designer. You agree that you might get some promotional emails and messages from them. If you don’t want to engage with it. Please restrict its use on the app.

Also, please understand that it’s just the facility we provide to our users to make things quicker for them. However, we do not have any influence or control over them. They might collect and use information like your site usage, device info, and cookies. If Veezlo apps, sites or systems redirect you to other third party services, it means we are using their some/total services to give you a better experience but we don’t control them and anything regarding that is beyond our scope of the privacy policy.

We store your content, designs and promotional messages on our system. We also print and paste the content on the vehicles when you request and create the campaign on our app. This can also help Veezlo to compare pre and post campaign designs to prevent the fraud.

We use cookies that accumulates non-personally identifiable information about the visitors of our site. Which includes your search preferences, number of times you visit and a popup message once in your every visit. These type of info is tied to a specific device or IP address but not necessarily with a specific person.

We care about the community and protecting their interest is vital. Kindly read campaign policies and terms of service to learn about allowed campaign material, content, categories and culturally fit designs. You agree that anything, not allowed and/or beyond the policies; posing threats, causing any kind of damage (to any religion, person, gender, ideology, minorities and any specific community) and inappropriate for the audience might result in termination of the service, account termination and removal of ads from the vehicles. In this case, if traffic police get involved, we may share your data with them as required by the law whereas permissible otherwise we protect and delete your data to keep you safe.

Ambassadors Specific Privacy Statement

We collect and use your information to process your registration and provide you with the campaigns. The information is also used as the criteria to avoid the fraud and abuse of our systems.

This information includes your location data to help you receive campaigns in your area. This information is also assessed for business purpose to manage our supply and maintain enough supply in a region to fulfill the demand. This might be used in any other form, nature and scope as per need like market research, zonal analysis and improvements.

It can also include your history of campaigns and personal data for verification purpose (ID, driving license, car registration papers, profile picture, email & contact).

We never want to share your information with third parties but you agree that we have the right to share your information (including personal information) about you and/or service provided where required by law, local authorities or in any special case of dispute or conflicts like accidents, insurance claims (to insurance providers) and/or to our franchises for operation in their respective cities.

We do not protect Veezlo’s safety, property and rights only but we also take steps to protect and secure your data, interests and activity. Veezlo detects and prevent address fraud, technical issues or security threats and/or to prevent or stop activities that pose a threat, risk of being illegal or legally actionable.

Ambassadors agree/expressly consent to our use of location-based service and agree/release Veezlo and its affiliates such as franchises or any stakeholder from any kind of liability, damages caused during using our services, claims or anything related to the use of location-based services.

Referral

If you use our referral program to invite your friends and family to use our services. We collect the name, contact and email of your friends and family to send an invitation on your behalf. This information also tracks the record of referral success. We may follow up and send reminders. We can also use (not always) this information for marketing & lead generation purpose. Your name and details will be mentioned in the invitation message. If your friends want to remove their information from the database. Kindly request it by contacting us on contact@veezlo.com and mention in the subject line.

Accuracy of the information

Veezlo considers everything and uses a detail-oriented approach to avoid inaccuracy of the information. But when you’re submitting information to us, it’s your responsibility to provide and maintain the accuracy of the information. Any dispute regarding this matter will not hold Veezlo responsible. However, Veezlo allows you to modify, correct and change your information anytime. If you’re an advertiser, you can do this from the account setting. If you’re an ambassador, you can visit the local supply office.

Access of information under acts

Acts that give you the right to access your information Veezlo has about you, in this case, the information can be accessed according to the act(s). Any access requested will cost you a fee which will cover our cost for providing a detail report of the information. This fee (10$) can vary region to region or prevail in any local currency.

Opting out

If you choose to close your account, delete your details and no longer wants to be the part of Veezlo’s great community. You can request us to close your account, remove you from the newsletter and any service you’re engaged in with us. We will take care of your preferences and delete everything about you. We do not sell, misuse or leak your data.
